Energy Psychology & Integrative Energy Healing
Energy Psychotherapy, is an integrative, body-centered approach to healing that brings together evidence-informed psychology, somatic release work, and Integrative Energy Healing. It recognizes that emotional experiences, stress, and trauma are not held in the mind alone, but are processed and stored through the nervous system, the body, and the body’s bioelectrical and electromagnetic systems.
Contemporary neuroscience and psychophysiology show that the human body operates through complex electrical signaling networks involving the brain, heart, fascia, and nervous system. Research in areas such as neuroplasticity, psychoneuroimmunology, cellular biology, and trauma science demonstrates that perception, belief, emotional states, and lived experience directly influence physiological function, stress responses, and overall health.
Drawing from Bruce Lipton’s work in cellular biology, we understand that beliefs and emotional environments shape cellular expression and nervous system functioning. Chronic stress, unresolved emotional experiences, and subconscious survival patterns can become embedded in the body, contributing to anxiety, emotional reactivity, fatigue, pain, and a sense of being “stuck.”
Integrative Energy Healing works with the body’s subtle energy systems—including meridians, chakras, and the human biofield—to support balance, coherence, and regulation. Influenced by the teachings of Donna Eden and Barbara Ann Brennan, this work recognizes that when energy flow becomes disrupted due to stress or trauma, the nervous system can remain in a heightened or collapsed state. Restoring energetic balance supports the body’s natural capacity to regulate, heal, and return to equilibrium.
Somatic release is a central component of this work. Rather than relying on cognitive insight alone, sessions gently support the body in releasing stored tension, emotional charge, and protective patterns through body awareness, breath, sensation, and nervous system regulation. This aligns with current trauma-informed approaches, which emphasize bottom-up processing—allowing the body to complete stress responses and restore a sense of safety before meaningful cognitive and emotional integration can occur.
Together, Energy Psychotherapy, Integrative Energy Healing, and somatic release work create a holistic approach that supports healing on emotional, physical, and energetic levels. This work goes beyond symptom management, helping individuals reconnect with their body’s innate intelligence, build resilience, regulate their nervous system, and access lasting change rooted in safety, self-awareness, and wholeness.
